Marty Dickinson's co-authored Web Marketing All-in-One for Dummies book covers

Reading was never one of Marty's favorite hobbies as a schoolboy. But, he sure loves to write non-fiction as an aduilt!

In 2009 and again in 2012, Marty co-authored the 900+ page book, Web Marketing All-in-One for Dummies (Wiley). When the publisher approached him to write one of the five sections, they asked him what he thought would be the most valuable to readers. Immediately, Marty recited a list of things he knows to be critical to business owners on the web that mean the difference to success or failure. Wiley Publishing agreed and chose Marty's section to be the first section in the book!

Marty took a long hiaitus from publishing until early 2016 when he released his first public work since 2012. It's titled Lions Always Win: How to Spot What You Want in Business and Life...and Get it Too!

Lions Always Win is a Quick-Start guide to establishing your goals and getting them into an achievable order. Before goals can be established, though, you need to discover what you want in all aspects of life, health and business. Marty's Lions Always Win book guides you through those steps without the need for coaches or consultants. 

Most recently, in June 2016, Marty launched another Quick-Start Guide for a web-based marketing and business management system called CloudNet360. Marty has been a devoted user and evangelist for CloudNet360 for seven years, dating back to when the product was called Premium Web Cart. Today, Marty is working on a series of Quick Start Guides for CloudNet360's individual modules including membership, project management, upsells and back-end selling, website builder, and auto-responders.

CloudNet360 Quick-Start Guide by Marty Dickinson

Marty's writing career began in 2004, at the suggestion of one of his web services clients that he should document his proven web marketing strategies in a book form. It took some convincing, but he finally took the plunge and released his first self-published book early that year titled, Winning the Internet Dogfight (Out of print). He pre-sold enough copies at his early web marketing workshops to pay for production costs before the book was ever printed and shipped. 

He then produced off-shoots from the original book including:

  • Getting Brutal with Google teaching search engine optimization techniques (SEO) - Currently in revision and planned for re-launch in 2017.
  • Convert Me Now! teaching sales copywriting and online sales conversion techniques (Out of print).
  • Surprise Cash! teaching affiliate program promotion techniques (Out of print).

As his speaking demands grew, along with his industry presence, Marty was invited in 2009 to co-author, Web Marketing All-in-One for Dummies (Wiley). This edition proved to be in demand enough that he was asked to co-author the next edition of the same book in 2012, which is still for sale today in bookstores all around the world and on Amazon.

What's Next for Books by Marty Dickinson?

The old way of writing seemed to take so long and is such a tedious process whether working with a traditional publishing company or through self-publishing. Marty knew there had to be a better way with all the technology there is available today.

Rookie Season: How to Coach a Youth Baseball Team for the First Time...and Win More than Just Games was that book! The content, about 20,000 words, was generated in less than 7 hours from start to finish! 

Today, Marty and his wife, are producing eBooks from concept to Kindle, in less than 6 weeks per book (without typing a single word!), under their new book producing company Produce My Book.
